The following are the functions of the Administration Directorate:
- Formulation of Finance policies for the Ministry
- Coordination and superintending the affairs of Finance, Supply, Planning, Research and Statistics Department.
- Supervise all finance and Supply issues in terms of:
- Release of fund
- Loan matters (External/Internal)
- Vehicle and housing loans
- Supply & store activities
- Tender Board Matters
- Supervise & Coordinate the activities of Account Unit of Ministry
- Identify and formulate programs and projects of the Ministry of Finance
- Prepare Memos, brief and council memoranda for the Honorable Commissioner/Ministry.
- Coordinate the activities between the Ministry and the Banks.
- Coordinate and superintend the affairs of finances between the Ministry and other MDAs.
- Supervise the maintenance activities of the Ministry’s facilities.
- Prepare and coordinate the transport activities of the Ministry.
